Last Sunday we packed our bags and headed off to Austria to Falkensteiner Hotel Carinzia to spend some relaxing days in their resort. In about three hours we arrived at the hotel which is suited just few steps away from the ski area of Nassfeld, one the ten biggest ski areas in Austria. But this time we decided not go skiing but to enjoy the Acquapura Spa while just relaxing and not doing much.
The hotel has a very modern appeal and fits perfectly into the landscape with the wooden look which is also present through the whole hotel but never feel like it would be too much of it. Instead I loved the modern and airy way how wood had been incorporated into the interior.
For me the highlight of our room was the glass shower which allowed to have a perfect view over the landscape even under the shower. The landscape was one the things we had on our to see list and we got some great tips for long walks, as Teddy was joining. I was pretty impressed with the way the dogs we not only allowed to stay at the hotel but also really welcomed. With a dog-walking service, which can be booked upon request your beloved one will be taken care of. Next time we for sure will try that service as well.
Even if the weather didn’t look too inviting for long walks, it was just perfect for relaxing and staying at the spa.
And while we would get pretty hungry after walks and spa treatments another highlight was awaiting us every evening as the Alpine-Adriatic cuisine was pretty amazing.
After four relaxing days it was time to say good bye to Falkensteiner Hotel Carinzia and head back home to Munich. Thank you Falkensteiner Hotel Carinzia for this amazing experience and having us!
