Ever had that situation when you want something really badly and you finally get your hands on that piece and then you kind of wear either the pieces so often that you overwear them or just not really fall in love as badly as you thought. So those pieces move further into the depth of the wardrobe. Not necessary being worn off. You just forget about them. I recently heard about a study that stated that a high procentage of us has an amount worth a short trip of unworn high quality closing and accessories siting in their closets. I was first really surprised as we actually try to sort out a lot and either give pieces to charity or sell them at yearly flea market. But after thinking a bit further I realized I never touched some of designer pieces I haven’t been really wearing. Remembering that I recently stumbled upon Vestiaire Collective I thought I should give it a try. The directions for sellers on Vestiaire Collective sounded pretty easy so I fully set up my profile and went on to sort out some of the pieces I haven’t been loving as much as the others in my wardrobe lately. Shot few pictures, uploaded them and set a short product description and hit send. Each piece that is being sold on Vestiaire Collective is carefully reviewed by the team before putting it online.
But what happens when the piece is online? Well as soon as it is sold you send it to Vestiaire Collective and it is checked for authenticity and if everything is good the buyer receives the desired good and you’ll be getting the money.
Because it all works so easy I put some of my pieces online. Head over here to my profile to see what is for sale right now…
Have you ever sold or shopped on Vestiaire Collective? If yes, tell me what were the gems you found or sold?
