Interior: Workspace Update

8. September 2015

It has been quite a while since I posted some impressions of my working space. Last time it had it‘s appearence on the blog was over here. Most of the times it looked quite messy, so there was no reason to show the chaos. I can get pretty messy and then get annoyed with all the chaos and start cleaning out like a pro. This is what happened few days ago and we started cleaning out the whole mess. Well and what can I say it‘s so much calmer for the eye and the soul to work at a space that is clean and neaty. Adding some plants to my desk was on my list and I also took the chance to update some of the accessories that were on my desk and decided to go with the copper trend for those. I think adding copper to living space ads some crispness and brightness to everything making it warm and cozy at the same time. Kupferhiglights von WestwingNowMini terrariums to plant some cacti and succulents were number one on my shopping list. I think those are perfect plants if you don‘t want to worry about watering every day and if you have the amount of sunlight like my desk, why not to go with those beauties. Kupferhiglights von WestwingNowWorkspace_Update_3On the other side of the desk I went for some candle holders which I simply reused as vases for small flowers. Adding one of the birthday presents, the candle holder from Hay, in copper of course ( oh Sarah you know me too good).

Kupferhiglights von WestwingNowWe also added some shelves, as sideboards, next to the workspace, which are perfect place to put some flowers on and add some more copper accessories, so it doesn‘t look too white and naked. Adding a copper vase and bowl, where I love the look of both even empty. Workspace_Update_4Doing so many things digitaly I love to write all my to do and my appointments down on a piece of paper. So The Day Designer, which I‘m ordering every year and some pretty note books are always on my desk. The ruler is a littel souvenier from my last trip to Copenhagen, oh you pretty one! And got a little companion from the monogram cup by Arne Jacobsen, which is perfect to sip coffee from or just to be filled with some pretty pens.

All my copper accessoires I found online at WestwingNow, the new addition to my beloved Westwing. Here you can shop eveything and it will be delivered in just few days. If that is not a great excuse for some more shopping?

Toll!
