A typical thing for December in Germany are all the Christmas markets that are opening up and Munich is no exclusion. But what to do if you are not the biggest fan of Christmas markets and mulled wine? Then I have a great tip for you when you are in Munich! Since 4th December Johnnie Walker Blue Label opened a Pop-Up Store at Munich’s restaurant brenner in the heart of the city. The Johnnie Walker Blue Label Pop-Up Store is all about the most exquisite and premium label by the Scottish whisky manufacturer. The day before the official opening I was invited to enjoy the Pop-Up Store and take part in an exclusive Blue Label tasting together with Tom Jones, who is Blue Label Brand Ambassador. I had a whisky tasting before and was amazed how differently each brand and each label can taste and that whisky is not only a typical guys drink. But must admit that Johnnie Walker Blue Label is the most gentle and tasteful whisky I tried so far. With flavors of honey, fruits and hazelnuts it’s a unique experience.
To celebrate the opening of the Blue Label Pop-Up Store and the capital of Bavaria, Johnnie Walker launched a Munich Limited Edition Design of Johnnie Walker Blue Label. The Edition show the unique Munich Skyline and the is limited on to 1.200 bottles. To make your bottle more unique you can even engrave it straight at the Pop-Up Store. And another limited edition was introduced that night a very charming mini bottle (0,2L), which is limited on to 1.000 bottles.
And if you love cocktails you will find your favorite for sure at the Johnnie Walker Blue Label Pop-Up Store as well, as they also serve some amazing cocktails there. The Pop-Up Store is open until December 24th and is great place to spend an evening or two.
