Have you ever heard of Bad Skin Day? Yep, Bad Skin Day! Every one heard of Bad Hair Day but what about the other one? And how to prevent that one? That was the question that we tried to find an answer to at the Vichy #wakeupbeautiful event two weeks ago in Hamburg. I have already learned quite a bit about my skin and what is good for it. But got another deeper insight at the Vichy event. Sleep is one of the crucial things that we often tend to forget. Sleep is not only a possibility for our body to rest but also for the skin to recharge and regenerate. By skipping the daily minimum of sleep we are at risk to develop a very Bad Skin Day, mine looks mostly like a red patchy and dry face, as my skin is dry and tends to get irritated pretty fast. That was also stated after analyzing my skin by Vichy skin care expert. This way I was able to select the perfectly fitting products to add to my skin care routine, for both face and body. On my agenda is not only moisturizing the skin, anti-aging (well guess who is turning 30 this summer!) but also to giving my skin lipids, as this is one of the things that are pretty non existent on my skin. Choosing some of my favorite products I instantly fell in love with Vichy’s Ideal Body Balm and Dermablend translucent powder (I was actually stunned by the whole Dermablend product range). The Ideal Body Balm is exactly the match my dry skin was looking for. And the Dermablend translucent powder is my new favorite against panda eyes, which I’m experiencing almost every day.
